Modernize Original Interior and Building Systems

• Comprehensive interior upgrades to reflect a modern, inclusive, and welcoming place

• Replace ice rink floor systems

• New bleacher seating and stairs

• New classroom

• Refreshed Exercise Room

• Updated plumbing systems throughout (pipes, domestic water pumps, hot water tanks, and related plumbing infrastructure)

• Updated mechanical systems (building cooling system, air handling, and ventilation equipment)

• Updated electrical system

• Updated fire suppression system

• Backup generator to protect the ice system and maintain interior climate

 New Ice System, Boards, and Glass

• Replace failing concrete slab below ice

• Install state-of-the-art ice system to deliver a high-performance skating surface with improved efficiency

• Replace all dasher boards and glass to enhance safety, visibility, and the spectator experience

Building Expansion and Exterior Improvements

• Construct a single-story addition (approximately 2,750 SF) to house:

• A modern refrigeration plant

• A relocated Zamboni room with an ice pit

• Updated exterior design, including a full building wrap to modernize the façade and improve energy performance

• A redesigned lobby serving as a functional and welcoming entry space for families, visitors, and skaters

• A new registration desk and skate shop

• State-of-the-art snack bar with full kitchen and eating area

• Renovated locker rooms to accommodate a broader range of users and improve comfort, flow, and accessibility, featuring:

• Wider bench seating

• New showers, sinks, and toilets

• New rubber floor coverings
