An $8 MILLION CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

BUILT BY AND FOR THE COMMUNITY

When Tony Kent Arena was established in 1989 as a nonprofit organization, the Arena was built to meet our community’s need for a local skating arena.

For nearly four decades, the Arena has been at the heart of Cape Cod’s skating, hockey, and community life, and it remains a home for the families and athletes who fill its ice and stands. Approximately 50,000 people come through our doors each year to enjoy skating, hockey, and recreational activities. With more than 75 programs for all ages and skill levels, the Arena continues to welcome people and groups from across the Cape.

Now it is our turn to invest in what comes next. After years of constant use, the Arena requires a comprehensive renovation and modest expansion to meet today’s needs and prepare for tomorrow.

We invite you to be part of this important effort!

WE’RE BUILDING FOR TOMORROW

Tony Kent Community Arena is launching an $8 Million Capital Campaign to repair aging infrastructure, improve accessibility and energy efficiency, expand community space, and modernize the overall facility.

This project will strengthen the Arena’s ability to serve today’s families while preserving the community spirit that has always defined it.

Momentum is already building, with early supporters helping to bring this vision to life. But the fully realized project will depend on broad community support and participation.

Together, we can strengthen this important organization so it remains affordable, inclusive, and full of opportunity in the years ahead.

WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS

Unlike most rinks today, which are privately owned and operated for profit, Tony Kent Community Arena remains a true nonprofit. It was established for the community and is sustained by it.

Revenue from day-to-day operations keeps the doors open and the programs running, but it can’t cover the major upgrades now needed to keep the facility strong for the future. That’s why this campaign is so important.

When the project is complete, a more efficient and reliable facility will eliminate the constant need for costly repairs and dramatically improve energy performance, allowing the Arena to invest more in programs and maintain affordability for local families.

The need is urgent. Without modernization, Tony Kent Community Arena cannot continue operating as it does today. The Arena is burdened by costly inefficiencies that strain resources, making it harder to sustain operations and keep programs affordable. Your support will change that—creating a practical solution that ensures stability and continued community access.
